No promises - is my new blog mantra. Although, I know it's going to be ages before anyone even stops by this blog again, I feel this overwhelming need to put up the "No promises" disclaimer upfront on all my posts. I don't know what this blog is going to look like in a week, in a year , in a few years and however it transforms (or not) I do not want to be burdened by the weight of promises to others or to myself. Hence, no promises!
Today, however, with all this comeback blogger's enthusiasm powering me, I am writing my second post for the day. Howzzat?!
New beginnings by default demand "new"- ness of some kind. I am thinking a make-over of some sort (for the blog, of course) would be nice. And I gently remind myself to not get carried away by all the grandiose ideas that seem to taking shape in my mind as we speak. A new header perhaps, a couple of links maybe - small but noticeable changes to the blog just to mark the comeback. And eventually I would love this blog to feature a few things that seem to repeatedly catch my attention these days - photography, photojournalism, home decor (indian decor particularly), ethnic indian finery (not necessarily in that particular order). Beautiful things inspire me. I love collecting ethnic art pieces and other collectibles and love showcasing them in my home, I enjoy creating aesthetic tablescapes for parties and such and I think the blog would be a good place to share things that I enjoy. There are many home decor /photography blogs on the www that I have been inspired by and its only because of them that I am contemplating incorporating these elements in to this blog as well, so a thank you to all those bloggers (will eventually link to them).
Christmas is long gone but tonight I leave you with a picture of my christmas tablescape..
