Now, this is a follow-up to this post.
First off, the kids delivered a praise-worthy performance last night. Even as we moms waited at the far end of the hall with racing heartbeats our kids put on a mighty good show. A big sigh of relief there! However, poor Li'l A mentioned later that he was indeed nervous on stage especially when he saw a sea of faces in front of him. I can only imagine, since this was his very first time dancing on stage. But their apprehension was not at all palpable as they danced with ease to the music. So, a big shout-out to them as well all the other
little performers of the night.I guess sometimes we don't trust our kids enough.
All in all, it was a beautiful evening. Many kids and moms dressed up in their national costumes, the stations displayed many ethnic goodies, the kids were enthusiastic to learn about other cultures and of course plenty of pictures were taken.
As promised, here's a few pictures from our evening of multicultural celebration.
Pardon the quality of dance picture, this was the best Uj could do, given the light and circumstance.
Next up, picture post saturday - from our travel albums.
Enjoy the rest of your Friday!
