Spring update
Texas summer is kicking in! And it's always sad to bid farewell to spring. However, we finally managed to get our hands green and had our first go at planting some rose plants. I know, we didn't want to try anything too complicated especially since we both are beginning gardeners. A rose plant, it seemed, would be our best bet. The oleanders, the canas, the petunias and of course , the orchids will have to wait! We have three rose plants in place and first thing every morning, Li'L A and I take a peek outside the window to see if our labor has borne fruits (err flowers) yet....joy does (after all) lie in the simple things! While we are waiting on the roses to bloom, here's a couple of pictures of the Texas bluebonnets . We finally made that trip to find bluebonnet fields one afternoon and even managed to take a few shots.
And here's one more, of a lovely Indian Paintbrush in a sea of bluebonnets!
So, what have you guys been up to this spring??
And ladies, the tag is next!
