Post # 100: Happy Birthday to my blog!!
Yes, this blog is a year old and this is post #100!!
I have been on a blog marathon, if you will, for the last 18 days to get to this target today and so many of you signed up to either run with me or cheer me on the sidelines, you did and it worked folks - all the motivation, all the encouragement, all the comments...so I should say, we did it!! Although it feels like I might have actually kicked up a big fuss about nothing at all, we cannot deny admitting this was fun. I mean, isn't life all about the simple pleasures? This gave me something to look forward to and I guess we would all live better if we stopped trying to find a meaning and a reason behind everything. I don't know why this was important to me, maybe I believe in goals, however big or small they may be or maybe I was hoping that if I can prove to myself that I CAN, with this little exercise then by extension it means I can with other things too. Isn't it a little sad that even at 30 years I still need to prove these things to myself ? Anyway, now it's done - on time and all the fun I had was just a bonus. Going forward, this blog will still be a place to just vent my thoughts, express my strong and sometimes twisted arguments and go on and on about A and hubby because they don't listen to me as much as I would like them to. But every once in a while, I might just decide to have some fun with it. So, make sure to sign up.
SO, you guys, ready for 150 ??.... just kiddin'. I need a break more than you all do..so while I am off to hibernate(for atleast a week), make sure to blog away at your own blogs and write about your wonderful children or your not-so-wonderful spouses (o.k, o.k....wonderful, whatever!!) I said that because mine has no clue what's going on in my double life as a blogger (yes!...he hasn't read a single post, atleast he doesn't know of any that I haven't read to him. I know!! can you believe I still love the guy ?? Anyway, while I am on break if you need more from the mind of the orchid, there's plenty that you haven't read.
BTW, I have done a total of 8 posts in the last 24 hours...so read them all LOL!!
No, don't worry, this time I am running off to hibernate or buy me some shoes...haven't done that in a while LOL!!!images via google

Rightly said, life is all about simple pleasures; problem is once we surmount goals/pleasures the defintion of simple changes; and age has no barrier. The count goes on!
